Australian Max Purcell clearly dominated Russian lucky loser Andrey Kuznetsov (6-4, 6-1) and advanced to the round of 16 of the Winston-Salem tournament in Winston-Salem on Tuesday evening.
Purcell, 47th in the world at the ATP, will face the winner of the upcoming match between Jack Draper and the Dutch Tallon Griekspoor, seeded No. 2 in the round of 16 at the Winston-Salem Open.
Before his qualification against Andrey Kuznetsov on Tuesday, the Australian had beaten the Italian Marco Cecchinato without being worried about the score (6-4, 6-1).
