Max Kühner (T) celebrated a successful debut on today (June 29th), the “real” first day of the CHIO in Aachen (GER), which officially opened yesterday evening, even though he had to accept eleven penalties in yesterday’s opening competition with EIC Julius Caesar.

Because with his nine-year-old Pacino son EIC Cooley Jump The Q, he remained flawless in today’s “Prize of Craftsmanship” and was able to place eighth in the 40-strong starting field.

In the Turkish Airlines Prize of Europe, which is the first qualification for the Rolex Grand Prix on Sunday (July 3rd), Max Kühner started with his s’Hertogenbosch winner Elektric Blue P. The eleven-year-old DSP gelding by Eldorado v. Zeshoek jumped the two rounds without a down and gave his lucky rider fifth place. Victory started McLain Ward (USA) and the highly talented Contagious.
