For the second consecutive year, the SSR International Airport of Mauritius has been elected by the Airports Council International (CIA), the best airport in Africa in the category of airports handling two to five million passengers per year, according to a press release. released on Monday by Airports of Mauritius Limited (AML) and Airport Terminal Operations Ltd (ATOL).
The ASQ 2022 world ranking (Airport Service Quality) of the CIA measures the level of services of airports operating worldwide. More than thirty elements of service are thus evaluated and rated by passengers through questionnaires over the course of a whole year.
For the Airport Holdings Limited (AHL) group, owned by the Mauritian State and the Bank of Mauritius, this ranking is a great source of pride, not only for SSR International Airport and ATOL, but also for the whole country. . “After the pandemic, the AML and ATOL teams have redoubled their efforts to enable the relaunch of the travel and tourism sectors, essential elements for the growth of the national economy,” said AHL.
