The ex-president Mauricio Macri returned to the media scene this Monday and ratified Patricia Bullrich as his candidate. In this way he distanced himself from the La Libertad Avanza candidate, Javier Milei, with whom he had been linked in recent weeks.

In dialogue with the TN news channel, the founder of Pro insisted: “(Patricia) is my candidate. There are malicious versions that say that I have two candidates”. And he added that we must lead “without messianism, without madness.”

Likewise, he warned that he hopes that the deputies and senators of Milei “Support Patricia when she is president.”

Regarding the statements of the libertarian economist regarding the possibility of Macri being his “representative to the world,” he clarified: “I insist, Argentina needs a profound change, a real change and that is what Patricia can lead with a team, with a plan, with a volume. We must lead without messianisms, without madness. It doesn’t seem to me that in Argentina we can live with intolerance of criticism. When I see him [Javier] Milei getting so violent… That’s not where it is.”

He also referred to the call he made to Milei following being crowned the great winner of the Primaries: “I am a person of dialogue and I intend to create bridges with all those who want to dialogue.. I called him just to congratulate him. There was nothing strange. The only thing I want is the support of your deputies when Patricia takes charge of the country.”

“We are in a process of organization. We have to de-dramatize the result of the PASO. It was a tie. It played once morest the expectation, that the pollsters did not get it right. What is going to happen is that we are going to go to a second round with the libertarians and JxC. “I am optimistic that we are going to be the ones who represent a change,” she said.

Mauricio Macri spoke regarding the intern of Together for Change and asked to “prescribe” the anger

Macri anticipated being clear that “we all have to be at the service of the president.” “When Patricia takes over, if she needs us, we will help her. If not, we will dedicate ourselves to something else. I am now venturing into teaching, working at FIFA. However, I am available to her for whatever she needs. We have to put an end to personalisms, go to a place where we all contribute and I am happy with that. It is going to be a stage in which the future president is going to need our support,” Macri highlighted.

He also made a small mention of the head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta: “Whether or not he is in Patricia’s government, she will have to answer that.”.

On the other hand, it sent a message into space. “Angers have to prescribe”, he claimed. “Many believed in PASO that they might have a treat, because they were angry. Argentina cannot improvise. You have to use the accumulated experience,” he analyzed. He also criticized dollarization: “Enough of the shortcuts,” she explained.

Mauricio Macri once morest Milei and Massa

Macri pointed out once morest the work of the Minister of Economy and candidate, Sergio Massa, as head of the Treasury Palace: “The scammer, as Cristina Kirchner called him in a horrible sincericide, has left the Central Bank’s charter like toilet paper. He has violated all the precedents of prolixity of what should be done to try to reach the end in any way possible.. And that is going to mean that we will face a great challenge when we return to power.”

Along those lines, he also criticized Milei’s chainsaw plan: “You need a toolbox. Sometimes it will help you to have a scalpel, a hammer or a pickaxe.”

“The level of crisis we have reached is unprecedented. A balanced budget must be made from day one to reestablish the central element of a government, which is trust. We must make the entire world understand that we can finance ourselves with our own income and we do not depend on others,” the former president remarked.
