Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) has said on the approval of the constitutional amendment by the National Assembly after the Senate that there is a big difference between the first and the current draft. Coming to the points, they were killing democracy through the draft

It should be noted that after the approval of the Senate yesterday, all 27 clauses of the 26th Constitutional Amendment have been approved in the National Assembly. After the approval of the National Assembly, the draft will be immediately sent to the President. With the signing of the draft by President Asif Zardari, the twenty-sixth constitutional amendment will become part of the constitution.

During his address to the National Assembly, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that in the past, when I raised my voice on the abuses done to Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and Asif Zardari, today I will condemn the harshness on PTI founder Imran Khan.

Besides, he said that my speech will be based on praise and not criticism, the Constitutional Court was also mentioned in the Charter of Democracy, the Charter of Democracy is for guidance in difficulties, there is no doubt that the Constitution will prevail
