Maulana Fazlur Rehman Apologizes to Saudi Delegation for ‘Storm Misbehavior’ in National Assembly – Pakistan

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), has apologized to the Imam of Masjid Nabawi, Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Badeer and others, who were part of the Saudi delegation present in the gallery of the House, for making noise in the National Assembly.

It should be noted that the National Assembly session was going on and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was addressing. When he discussed other issues including the quota system, slogans were raised by the opposition and there was an uproar in the House.

After Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s speech ended, Mustafa Kamal gave a counter-criticism and then Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of Jamiat Ulema Islam (F), took over the mike.

In the presence of the Saudi delegation in the gallery of the House, he highlighted the importance of the joint efforts of both countries on the relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and the problems of the Muslim world.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the Imam of Masjid Nabawi is our Imam, maintaining this tradition, we should not give importance to our internal affairs, but the friendship of Saudi Arabia, their relationship, respect for the Holy Haram, and its excellence and We would like to highlight the importance of the symbol of the unity of Muslims.

The head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam said that ‘I think that the presence of the guest will lead to better bilateral relations between the two countries. We consider the first friend of the Muslim world in the international community.

He said that they give him the right to lead the Islamic world and lead the Muslim Ummah. There are problems faced by Muslims in Kashmir, Burma, Gaza and Palestine. And Saudi Arabia has the strength to raise these issues at the Arab League forum and think for a peaceful future for Muslims.

He said that I apologize to the Saudi delegation and their guest for the atmosphere created in the House.
