Government appoints artist Maudy Ayunda be the spokesperson (spokesperson) for the G20 Presidency forum to support public communication. The Minister of Communication and Information describes a number of backgrounds for the appointment Maudy Ayunda as spokesperson for the G20.
“Sister Maudy is a graduate of the University of Oxford’s Philosophy, Politics, and Economics undergraduate program and a Master of Business Administration and Master of Arts in Education from the University of Stanford,” said the Minister of Communications and Informatics in a press statement introducing a government spokesman for the G20 Presidency. “Maudy also knows several foreign languages which hopefully will help in her duties as a spokesperson,” he continued.
The singer, songwriter, and model who was born in Jakarta, December 19, 1994, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oxford University, England on June 6, 2016.
After receiving a degree from the world’s best university version of the World University Rankings 2022 from Times Higher Education, Maudy continued his studies in two programs at the University of Stanford, United States and successfully graduated in June 2021.
Just like Oxford University, the University of Stanford is one of the world’s most prestigious universities. This elite private campus is ranked 4th in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022.
Maudy Ayunda’s Duties as G20 Spokesperson
The Minister of Communication and Information said that there were several tasks that he carried out Maudy Ayunda as spokesperson in the G20 Presidency.
“First, convey information related to the implementation of the G20 Indonesia high-level conference which will be attended by leaders of G20 members, heads of state and heads of government,” said Johnny G Plate.
Maudy will also prepare for the development of various working group meetings, engagement groups, and side events on a regular basis.
“Secondly, preparing for the development of working group meetings, engagement groups, and side events at the G20 Indonesia Presidency on a regular basis so that the Indonesian people and the world community can follow the developments and substance of the agenda of the G20 Indonesia Presidency,” he explained.
Maudy also stated that it did not take long for him to agree to be involved in this event.
“That’s why this historical task must be greeted with joy and optimism. I really want to be involved in this historic moment because this momentum only occurs once every 20 years. If we are not involved now, when will we all join together to participate in making this moment a success,” he said. .
As the government spokesman in the G20 Indonesia, Maudy Ayunda mentioned that there are three priority issues in this agenda. The three are strengthening the global health architecture, digital transformation, and energy transition.
