He was one of the owners of C8’s flagship show. The 49-year-old host and columnist, Matthieu Delormeau, announced on his Twitter account that he had decided to “definitely leave TPMP and TPMP PEOPLE” following seven years on the air.
“I wanted to thank you viewers hoping to have entertained, amused, touched you, and I also know sometimes annoyed thanks to C8, the teams, the antenna, the production and obviously Cyril (Hanouna, editor’s note). Life is beautiful and we are lucky to have several of them,” he explains. In June 2020, already, at the Parisian, he announced to leave the show before finally making his return. At that time, he dreamed of other adventures in television, radio, on stage.
This time, he does not explain, yet, the reasons for this departure. For several weeks, his fans had noticed and worried regarding his absence from the air. This year, he also presented the weekly program “TPMP People” and produced by the same company as TPMP. There he “deciphered” the latest celebrity news.
Before that, he had been spotted and then recruited on NRJ12 when he was the collaborator of Marc-Olivier Fogiel at the time of “We can not please everyone” on France 3, then columnist with Jean-Marc Morandini on Live 8.
