Melbourne: Covid is a concern in the Australian cricket team. After spinner Adam Sampa, wicketkeeper batsman Matthew Wade has also been confirmed with Covid. Defending champions Australia are all set to face England tomorrow in the T20 World Cup. Just before this, Wade’s test result was positive.

Wade is currently the only wicket-keeper in the 15-man Australian squad. The star has only mild symptoms. Therefore, there are reports that Wade will play against England tomorrow. The Aussies have decided not to replace the player with another player. David Warner and Glenn Maxwell are also being considered for the wicket-keeper slot if Wade is out.

After losing to New Zealand in the first match, Australia extended their hopes by defeating Sri Lanka in the second match. Tomorrow’s match against England is crucial for the Aussies. England, who suffered a surprise defeat against Ireland, must win tomorrow’s match.
