The man who became known in the 1990s for his role as Chandler Bing in the series “Friends” was 54 years old. For several years, the latter had been battling various alcohol and drug addictions. This Wednesday, November 1, a first lead was ruled out by investigators. According to the American media TMZ, Matthew Perry’s death is not believed to be linked to his use of fentanyl and methadone, two opioid painkillers. These two illicit substances were not found in the actor’s blood. It remains to be seen whether the latter had used other illegal drugs before his death.
