Matthew Bergeron enjoys every rehearsal he takes part in with the veterans at Atlanta Falcons training camp. “It’s a good thing for my career,” he told local media after Monday’s practice.
The Victoriavillois took the place of Matt Hennessy on the offensive line with the starting group. The latter, with whom he is battling for the starting position as left guard, suffered a knee injury last week. His condition is being assessed daily, but he should return to his place in the coming days.
Until then, it’s Bergeron who benefits by taking on experienced defensive players like Grady Jarrett and David Onyemata during practices.
