Young Italian Matteo Berrettini knocked out Germany’s Alexander Zverev outside the Wimbledon tennis tournament, to qualify to meet world number one Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz.
Berrettini managed to win the match in two hours and 27 minutes with a score of 6-3, 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-5).
This is the second victory for the world number 38 over Zverev, in the sixth match between them.
On the other hand, the German player faced a new failure in the oldest tournament in the world, to be eliminated from the third round, knowing that his best achievement was his qualification to the final price twice.
The next opponent for the 27-year-old Italian, ranked first in the world, will be Alcaraz, and the fourth match will be between them, knowing that the 20-year-old Spaniard has two matches once morest one.
