– Matt Jackson and Brandon Cutler tested positive for COVID-19 and for this reason will not be present at today’s AEW tapings. Nick Jackson, who was in close contact with Matt and Cutler, is also in quarantine and will therefore not be there, even if he has not yet tested positive. All three are at home in California and have never even made their way to Newark, New Jersey.
– In an interview with “Z100” Tony Khan announced further “dream commitments”. When asked whether there are any other stars he dreams of signing and whether they are North Americans, the AEW President replied:
“There are. You are from North America and you will come. Very soon and it’s going to be great. I’m very excited. “
– Jake Atlas is All Elite! On Monday we reported on the 27-year-old’s AEW debut at this week’s “AEW Dark: Elevation” edition, yesterday, Tuesday, AEW President Tony Khan officially announced that the former NXT star had been signed. Atlas was fired from WWE in August 2021 and had retired from his career shortly following due to mental health problems. He has been considered one of the most talented newcomers for several years and played numerous matches for Game Changer Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla before he officially received a WWE contract in 2019. This was his big dream, but it didn’t turn out as hoped.
If only everyone knew every detail leading up to this. This means everything to me. Cliché but I REALLY have a lot to prove now. This year, whether you love me or hate me, you’re going to know me. It is what it is. Superstar is back. ✨
Thank you @TonyKhan #AEW https://t.co/hVQ7akrGDt
