THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Officials’ loved ones travel on the Vande Bharat Express before the flag off by the Prime Minister. The woman and her baby traveled in breach of security. It was earlier reported that many relatives of officers board Vandebharat when it stops at stations during its trial run.
It is informed that the sister and child of the Assistant Divisional Mechanical Engineer traveled from Ernakulam in Vandebharat. They were traveling in Vandebharat’s C12 coach. This is the fourth coach from the engine. They were traveling with the curtain of the coach lowered. No other coach had the curtain lowered.
A woman and an infant traveled in the trial run. The footage has come out. A baby’s cry can also be heard in the video. When the information came to the divisional office, they were instructed to get down at the Kozhikode railway station. However, the RPF Disobeying the commander’s order, they continued their journey to Kasarkot.
The initial response of the railway authorities is that there is no accurate information regarding the incident. The RPF said that there is a situation where relatives of the officers bump into each other while stopping at the station. Confirmed.
