The E-Ink tablet, which has been rumored for a long time, finally officially debuted in the name of MatePad Paper today. The device uses a 10.3-inch E-Ink panel with a screen-to-body ratio of 86.3%. It can display text, pictures and even videos in 256-level grayscale, with a 26ms response time and support for 32-level backlight. Under the blessing of Huawei E-Ink display enhancement algorithm, it claims to bring a real paper-like reading experience. At the same time, the device also supports voice input. With the second-generation Huawei M-Pencil stylus, handwriting can be realized, and the system can also recognize the handwriting and convert the text.

The MatePad Paper weighs 360g and offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. Not surprisingly, it is also preloaded with the Hongmeng OS 2 system. Through cross-device interaction, users can continue to read content from paired mobile phones and computers on the E-Ink tablet. It is worth mentioning that this product can also be used as a PC external storage device, and data transfer can be performed by dragging and dropping.
