It’s a moment that many university students dread: the second session. It starts today. Some students play their year there. “I’ve only been studying for five days. I want to succeed and that my work pays to have all my credits for next year“, says Victor, a first-year industrial engineering student at the Haute École Louvain in Hainaut Mons.
In the second session, the exam is neither harder nor easier. What sometimes changes is the way to fix it. “We cannot react in the same way in the second session as in the first. An academic year is sometimes at stake in the second session. So sometimes you have to dive back into a copy to see if you can switch to success and avoid failure for a whole year.“, explains David Michel, professor of mechanics.
The second session will last two good weeks, before the start of the academic year on September 14.
