Into the Unknown is one of the main missions in Starfield. It includes 16 different missions, one of which requires you to follow anomalies on your scanner on the planet Procyon III. This particular task is one of the most confusing in this chain of tasks, and I’ll show you how to do it below! Starfield: How to Follow Anomalies on Your Scanner Upon landing in Procyon III, the anomalies will appear on your scanner as a small glitch in the scanner’s outer ring. Turn your scanner until you see one of these distortions, then move in that direction. Distortions will increase in frequency and intensity as you get closer to the target. When you approach the Temple of Eta, you will be given your next objective, which is “Investigate the source of the anomaly”.
