Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – “There is a common misconception among people that big cats are very scary, and safari trips are usually risky,” said Indian photographer, Lalan Goop, while speaking to CNN in Arabic.
Job has been working in Pinch National Park, India, for nearly 20 years.
Over the past two years, he has become a photographer with a passion for all things wildlife as well.
Job has helped thousands of tourists and wildlife photographers, from all over the world, on safari trips to Bench National Park.
On one of these trips, the Indian photographer was watching a tiger walk a long distance, demarcating its own territory and territory.
As soon as he came across a small pool of water in the middle of the road, he decided to sit in it.
Known as ‘Kurigad’ by the locals, this huge tiger is a favorite of many tourists in Punch National Park.
“Unlike other big cats, tigers love water … and are keen to sit in the water without missing the opportunity, to relax following long walks, as can be seen in the video,” Job explained.
Although Goop was near the tiger, he made sure to leave an appropriate safety distance to make sure he was not disturbed, which allowed him to continue his usual activities.
The Indian photographer is keen to remain silent, wear earthy camouflage clothing, and always give wild animals their own space.
And if you give enough space to these big cats, they won’t face any risks at all.
In fact, big cats are afraid of humans and avoid any kind of interaction if possible, according to the Indian photographer.
Tourists are always accompanied by experienced guides and naturalists, who know these animals well, making it an enjoyable and safe experience.
Job considers tigers to be one of the most attractive big cats in the wild. “These wonderful creatures have the most unique and interesting fur coat of any animal, which makes them the master of camouflage,” he said.
Often, Job’s followers are surprised when they see his photos, on social media.
In fact, safari trips are the best way to get to know the wild animals and understand their nature.
Goop’s goal remains to educate people and create awareness regarding the protection and conservation of this endangered species.
In turn, he will continue to showcase the beauty of these wonderful creatures and help people understand why we need to protect them at all costs.
