Both Christin Kashou and Penny Parnevik have a strong presence on social media. Now the two 27-year-olds become restaurant owners together.

Christin Kashou won the television competition Sweden’s Master Chef 2021 and has both experience from the restaurant kitchen and a sommelier training.

– Winning Sweden’s master chef was a dream come true. Now I am ready to take my passion for food and drink to the next level by opening my first restaurant, she said in a statement.

On April 9, the doors open for the Parken restaurant at Östermalm in Stockholm. There, lunch and dinner guests will be offered a menu with influences from the Mediterranean that flirts with the Middle East and Christin Kashou’s own Palestinian roots.

The business partner Penny Parnevik belongs to one of Sweden’s most famous families and since she moved with her husband Douglas Murray from the USA to Sweden, she has made a name for herself as an influencer and TV profile.

– We are so happy to finally welcome everyone to us at the Park, which we hope can become a gathering place – right in the heart of town. A place for a good lunch in the sun or the date that you never want to end. Just being able to sit and eat well next to my children’s favorite playground feels absolutely wonderful, says Penny Parnevik in a comment.
