Maître Brahim Ebety, president of the National Order of Lawyers (ONA) of Mauritania since 2020, is a candidate for a second term at the head of the corporation, in view of the elections of July 2023, announces a press release sent to the press on Saturday evening .
The incumbent chairman justifies his determination to re-enlist by “professional roots within the different generations of lawyers and throughout the judicial world, a constant commitment to implementing all my skills, my experience and the network of my national and organizations at the service of the profession, to enhance the prestige of the order and entrench the partnership with the judicial authorities, as enshrined in the law of 2020 on the organization of the legal profession, and for the consolidation of relations with the authorities at all levels, with a view to enabling the lawyer to work to reaffirm the primacy of the law and assume the mission of defending the rights of persons and their property”.
