IOT ANNUAL EVENT The Massive IoT Summit will be HELD BY EVERYNET WITH THE SUPPORT OF AMERICAN TOWER WILL GATHER SECTOR PROFESSIONALS IN SÃO PAULO THIS WEEK
The second edition of the Massive IoT Summit takes place on the 23rd and 24th of August and, once once more,
promises to present real applications and important discussions regarding the Massive IoT sector;
the event can be followed online and free of charge
There are just a few days left for another edition of the Massive IoT Summit, which will take place this Wednesday and Thursday, August 23 and 24, respectively, at Inovabra Habitat – Bradesco Innovation Center, in São Paulo. Everynet’s global event, supported by American Tower, will once once more bring together professionals and companies in the technology and telecommunications sectors for discussions on the Massive IoT market.
At the 2022 event, around 400 spectators followed everything in online transmission. In all, 30 industry leaders and key industry decision makers shared their perspectives on the Massive IoT scenario at the event held at Inovabra for 120 guests. The expectation for this year is even greater, since the event will be held in two days, offering valuable content, in addition to networking.
Opening
To open this year’s Massive IoT Summit, on Wednesday, August 23, the program will focus on strategic discussions and presentations centered on critical themes, challenges and opportunities of today’s IoT market. Participants will have contact with successful real applications, strategies and future trends for the Internet of Things, through lectures and panels.
The panel “Reinventing the development of smart cities”, which takes place on Wednesday at 3 pm, brings together names such as Janilson Bezerra (American Tower), Alexandre Cardeman (Rio Operations Center), Pedro Iacovino (ABCIP) and Aleksandro Montanha (ABINC) to discuss the directions of IoT in the public administration sector.
Also on Wednesday, at 5 pm, the panel “Reveal the generation of value with IoT” will take place, with Fred Oliver (Everynet), Cristiano Barbieri (Comgás), Claudio Bulgarelli (OnixSat), Murillo Borges (Iguá) and Marcelo Junqueira ( Neowrk) and at 6 pm “The Future of IoT” brings together James Brehm (JBA Advisory), Clerinsom Santana (AWS), Edelweiss Ritt (HT Micron), Daniel Laper (American Tower) and Fabio Lunis de Paula (Indicator Capital).
Second day
On Thursday, the 24th, the focus of the Massive IoT Summit 2023 will be on solution providers, offering, in an unprecedented way, a Matchmaking Day with vertical trails, in which industry leaders will present their best solutions in a format 10-minute pitch.
Massive IoT solutions for “Smart Cities and Public Lighting”, “Water, Gas and Electric Energy”, “Smart Industries”, among other topics, will be presented during the meeting on the last day of the event.
The Massive IoT Summit will also see the launch of the Massive IoT Wall, showcasing top devices from Everynet ecosystem partners that are generating volume and changing the global IoT landscape.
The first day offers a hybrid approach, allowing guests to participate in the event in person or online. Online registration for the first day is available on the official website of the event – Link.
On the second day, the event is exclusively face-to-face. Those interested in this day can request participation through the same link and wait for a response regarding the availability of vacancies.
O objetivo do Massive IoT Summit
For Gustavo Zarife, Country Manager of Everynet in Brazil, the Massive IoT Summit helps to bring out the critical pillars necessary for the successful deployment of Massive IoT. “We believe that by bringing real experiences and relevant information, we collaborate with this necessary and healthy movement and integration of the sector that only has to grow, not only in Brazil, but globally”, explains the manager.
“We are really looking forward to the 2023 edition. We believe that each year the event will have more impact on the sector. The objective of the Massive IoT Summit is to share the challenges, learnings and opportunities of the entire ecosystem, to accelerate the implementation of Massive IoT in our country”, completes Zarife.
Emerson Hugues, General Manager of American Tower, points out that the accelerated growth of the company’s neutral LoRaWAN network, in partnership with Everynet, demonstrates that IoT solutions have already reached a significant level of maturity within the market.
“Our LoRaWAN network has reached remarkable maturity, with more than twelve billion messages transmitted, including remote water and gas measurements, asset tracking and a series of applications that make IoT real. This advance in the LoRaWAN network enabled remote metering for water and gas utilities, reducing costs and increasing operational efficiency. Another application that has been driven by our network is cargo tracking, vehicles and assets in general, enabling new formats for cargo recovery and logistical improvement,” explains Emerson.
“By offering a mature, neutral IoT network that generates continuous value for our customers, we are redefining the concept of the ‘Internet of Value’. With advanced telemetry and power and public lighting control commands, we can say that we are generating tangible and real value for all our partners”, adds the executive.
The Massive IoT Summit 2023 is hosted by Everynet, supported by American Tower and sponsored by Semtech, HT Micron, Tektelic and Constanta.
