A major fire broke out this Saturday on a farm in Genappe, in Walloon Brabant. The rescue zone required the intervention of several barracks. Firefighters from Nivelles, Braine-l’Alleud and Wavre deployed in the Brussels roadway.
By mid-followingnoon, the fire was brought under control but firefighters remained on site. The cause of the fire is not known, but the damage is significant. A hangar was totally devastated, another was partially destroyed. No casualties were reported.
A witness who flew over the area on board a light aircraft transmitted to us images filmed during the emergency response (see the video above).
