The head of the General Directorate of Architecture of Misiones, Sergio Bresiski, defended on Friday the estimated expenditures of the organization for 2024. Before the members of the Budget Committee of the House of Representatives, he explained that the amounts planned for next year will reach 2,900 million pesos, amounts that will represent an increase of 104% compared to the current period.
He told canal12misiones.com that they will seek to expand work in “strategic areas such as health, education, security and social welfare.” In addition, he indicated that they had a notable growth in the demand for new sports courts and day homes throughout the province. Bresiski highlighted the work carried out in municipal buildings. “We carry out new infrastructures and reforms in municipalities and civic centers in different municipalities,” she remarked.
Work in progress
Later on, the architect recalled that the work at the Primary Health Care Centers (CAPS) in Posadas is currently regarding to be completed. “These are works that are included within this budget,” he said. Until August, the current budget is 65% complete. “This can be seen in the works that we are regarding to inaugurate, such as the Panambí hospital,” he highlighted.
He recalled that another of the delivered works was the first part of the Cepard pool. “We are starting the construction of the roof, which will transform the pool into one of the most important in the country,” he remarked.
He announced that some CAPS are close to inaugurating, such as the case of Colonia Delicia. “This highlights the territoriality that the current budget has and the one that the 2024 one will have,” Bresiski emphasized.
Projected works in the 78 municipalities
When asked regarding the main works for 2024, Bresiski listed the projects outlined throughout the province. In the health field, he assured that work will begin in the hospitals of San Javier and Candelaria, as well as the remodeling of different CAPS. In the education sector, “we have many schools that are in progress, such as BOP 113 in San Vicente, and also some in Almafuerte,” he commented.
In the case of the municipalities, they will build the new building for the municipality of San Pedro and tender the terminal project. Also, as part of the stream treatment work, they will make an urban tour.
The budget planned for 2024 includes the work on the 3 de Mayo tourist inn. “It is an opportunity for all the missionary production and it also becomes an agent of tourism development,” said the head of Architecture. Among other projects, they will provide a more comfortable and pleasant infrastructure for tourists at the Route 7 viewpoint, in the Cuña Pirú valley. “Depending on the areas, there are many works that we have on file,” said Bresiski.
