The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported a massive attack on the region by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to him, during the day the Belgorod region was shelled regarding 120 times, with at least five of them using drones. The head of the region noted in his Telegram channel that “there were no casualties or destruction in any of the district’s settlements.”
Gladkov said that the Ukrainian military fired 10 artillery and 10 tank shells at the village of Zhuravlevka in the Belgorod region, and attacked the village of Solntsevka with the help of two kamikaze drones.
In the Volokonovsky district, the outskirts of the Stary village came under mortar fire, and in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, following artillery shelling, a power line was damaged. “Now the power line has been partially restored, following approval from the Russian Ministry of Defense, work will continue,” added the governor of the Belgorod region.
The day before, he reported that the Belgorod region was attacked by five Ukrainian drones in one day.
