In the municipality of Santo Domingo, northeast Antioquia, three men and one woman were murdered in the village of Las Beatrices in the Botero corregimiento.
According to the reports of the authorities, the violent act occurred on the night of Monday, January 17, however, it was only known on the afternoon of this Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

In the rural area of the village of Las Beatrices, inside a farm, an hour away from the urban area, the bodies of these victims were found, killed with a firearm. three men between the ages of 26 and 52 and an unidentified woman whose age range I would be between 18 and 20 years old. A relative notified the authorities through a phone call.
After learning about this new act of violence, several members of the Army and the Police were deployed in the corregimiento, seeking to find those responsible for the act, as well as Sijín personnel in charge of collecting information for the respective investigation.

This fact became known just when a security council was held in the Government of Antioquia in which it was indicated that 54% of the homicides in Antioquia occur in rural areas of the region.
