Massa determined that this norm has two axes: the first a set of fiscal benefits to increase volume and investment rotation in the sector, while the second will be that the law has Pre-Trip, which returns 50% of expenses, as a State policy.

“So that in Argentina whoever governs governs, those 7.5 million Argentines who were able to use the Pre-Trip in the last three years, that they consumed, that helped to formalize the economy, that gave the opportunity to have new establishments and to encourage sectors from different provinces to undertake businesses around tourism, crafts, hotels and gastronomy can continue to consolidate,” said the Minister.

Firmness, action and unity, the profile that Sergio Massa seeks to reinforce

During the event, Massa expressed: “Tourism is one of the most important industries without a chimney. In the last year it created 50 thousand new jobs. Due to its diversity, Argentina offers interest for the domestic market and a great opportunity to attract foreign currency.”

In addition, the project establishes a progressive system of deduction of employer contributions for the incorporation of new workers in the tourism sector; a tax credit bond and a Free Exchange Market for investment promotion; and other incentives to promote micro, small and medium-sized providers in this industry, stated the Ministry of Tourism.

Criticism for “the little plan” of the Preview

During the event, first Lammens, and then Massa harshly criticized the opposition candidates, more precisely referring to Patricia Bullrich who called the Pre-Trip a plan during the last presidential debate.

“Unfortunately for some this is a little plan. This Pre-Trip for some (he clarified in feminine), is not having dimension of the impact it has for Argentina, and if they raise the fiscal question, where 85 of every 100 pesos return in tax and formalization of the economy, you’re stupid, you’re stupid“Massa launched.

What were the most searched destinations with Pre-Trip 5?

The candidate stated that tourism is going to be one of the turbines of the economy, and is of great importance in terms of jobs and the generation of foreign currency thanks to international tourism. In addition to valuing that with the Pre-Trip there is no low season, which means that work remains seasonal throughout the year.

“The Pre-Trip is going to leave a mark and the important thing is that it transform it into a public and State policy in Argentina so that it does not depend on the madness or whim of someone who is unaware of the importance of the sector. when it comes to generating employment, investment and consolidating Argentina’s internal market,” he noted.

According to the CAME report, eight long weekends have already passed so far this year: 13.3 million tourists traveled and spent 557,623 million pesos in total, CAME pointed out, which at the same time highlighted that the Pre-Trip “was a success”: 220 thousand tourists traveled with the program and spent more than 14,000 million pesos.
