The candidate for head of the Buenos Aires Government of Unión por la Patria (UxP), Leandro Santoro, will close his campaign today at the Luna Park stadium, with the motto «For a more just and humane city»with the participation of the presidential candidate Sergio Massa, ahead of Sunday’s elections.

«For a more just and humane City. Let’s go to the runoff. See you at the Luna on the 18th,” Santoro expressed on social networks when sharing the Call scheduled for today at 5 p.m. at the Luna Park stadiumlocated on Avenida Corrientes and Bouchard in the city of Buenos Aires.

Last night, in statements to Public TV, Santoro renewed his questions to the candidate for head of the Buenos Aires Government of Together for Change, Jorge Macri, who aspires to continue the management of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta in the city.

«The one who had to disguise himself as a porteño was Jorge Macri, who came to take care of cousin Mauricio Macri’s business. Jorge Macri does not even close the PRO voters“Said Santoro in statements last night on the program Desiguales.”

After the PASO, Santoro focused his campaign on calling on the different sectors of the Buenos Aires electorate that do not feel represented by the candidate of Together for Change (JxC), especially targeting the radicals who voted for Martín Lousteau inside the local ruling party.

With the aim of reaching the runoff in the district where the PRO has governed for 16 years, Santoro included Lousteau’s proposals in his own electoral platform and emphasized that “an alternative” for CABA is possible.

Massa once morest the opposition: “If Milei or Bullrich win the election, the collective will pay 700 pesos”

The Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, pointed out that the possibility of waiving the bus and train subsidy implemented by the Ministry of Transportation is the way for “people to be clear” that if the opposition candidates Javier Milei (La Libertad Avanza ) and Patricia Bullrich (Together for Change) win the election, “They are going to pay $700 for the bus and $1,100 for the train.”

«The resolution of the Ministry of Transportation tells people that the ticket proposed by Massa is a $60 ticket and the one proposed by Bullrich and Milei is a ticket of $700 (for the bus) and $1,100 in the case of the train«said the minister this morning in dialogue with Radio 10.

He pointed out that this is a measure “so that people are clear regarding it,” but that “Then, when it comes to voting, everyone chooses what they want.”

«People have to know that if Milei or Bullrich win the election, they will have to pay $700 for the bus and $1,100 for the train; and that, if we win the election, the bus and the train will continue to have a subsidy. They are two different countries«he reiterated.

The alternative to waive the subsidy, announced last Monday by the Minister of Transportation, Diego Giuliano, will be available for users of buses and trains under national jurisdiction and can be managed from Friday through the website argentina.gob.ar/SUBE .

Elections 2023: Santoro and his plan for the first 100 days

In CABA, the candidates who will compete to succeed the current head of government Horacio Rodríguez Larreta are Leandro Santoro (UxP), Jorge Macri (JxC), Vanina Biasi (Frente de Izquierda-Unidad) and Ramiro Marra (La Libertad Avanza).
