A Maryland man used the same numbers to win the lottery three times, according to a statement from the Maryland Lottery.
In less than a year, the individual, who wished to remain anonymous, won his third booty of US$50,000 on April 13.
It was in May 2022 that the 52-year-old won two prizes worth US$50,000 each, totaling US$100,000.
His lucky numbers? The 4-8-5-4-8.
“I play the lottery all the time,” he said in the statement. “We never know. You can’t win if you never try.”
The probability of winning the $50,000 prize in the Maryland Lottery “Pick 5” game is 1 in 100,000.
