Dammam: The exhibition of the young artist has started in Dammam with her paintings of her daughter’s struggles and dreams. The exhibition of paintings by Mariam Alshamlawi, a native of Khatweef, started at the Society for Cultural and Arts Hall. Dr. Nuhad Al Jishi inaugurated the exhibition.
He said that the colors of life experiences are reflected in Mariam’s paintings. The exhibition will last for seven days. Mariam said that she had been drawing pictures since she might remember. When I was young, most of the gifts I received were colored pencils. But she said that it was during college that she became serious regarding acting.

Mariam told ‘Gulf Madhyamya’ that the common theme of the film exhibition is the self-expression of women’s minds. In Saudi Arabia, women are respected and accepted in every sense. At the same time, she said, those who need to know her personality are not aware of it. Her sorrows, dreams, isolation, fear, love, hopes, love and desire were all the expressions he knew. Acrylic is used to accurately draw these expressions.
For Mariam Al Shamlawi, an administration manager at a clinic in Qatweef, the film is an escape from the tensions of work. Mariam said that she does not find any special time for it and often wakes up from sleep and engages in drawing in the middle of the night. Director Yusuf Alharbi said that organizing an exhibition of young talent at the Society for Cultural and Arts will open up wide opportunities for them.
