The request was filed by Dimitris Hatzimichalis, lawyer of the late actress Mary Chronopoulou, who spoke online at Studio 4 at noon on Tuesday (27.02.2024).
“Mary’s friends, when we saw what happened, it really saddened us, because it was something sudden and unjustified. Mary Chronopoulou was in good spirits and in health. She only had some mobility problems due to an accident, but inside her house she was moving on her own, without help,” describes Mr. Hatzimichalis.

“When the housekeeper from Georgia came back one night, he found her lying in the living room with blood on her head, away from stairs, for there was a lot said regarding stairs and so forth. The housekeeper called a colleague of Mary’s and a neighbor and together they called a hospital,” adds the well-known lawyer on the air of Public Television.
“The people from the hospital have not yet been found to testify. Only the Georgian housekeeper, the neighbor and then some of her friends testified. There was money and jewelry in the house that was never found. Mary had left a will for her property to go to the Smile of the Child,” said Mr. Hatzimichalis regarding Mary Chronopoulou.
“Following our request, the preliminary investigation took place and the case file was returned to the Prosecutor’s Office. The forensic report is awaited, it has not been received yet. This particular case has too many loopholes. The place and the way she was injured does not justify the injury, we are also puzzled by the fact that no money and jewelry were found”, underlines Mr. Hatzimichalis regarding Mary Chronopoulou.
