On the occasion of the 100e Stan Lee’s birthday, Disney+ has announced the upcoming release of a documentary on the life of the famous superhero creator on its streaming platform in 2023.

“100 years of dream. 100 years of creation. 100 years of Stan Lee. Stan Lee, an original documentary will air in 2023 on @DisneyPlus,” the broadcaster posted on his official Twitter account.
Alongside collaborators such as Jack Kirby and Steve Dito, Stan Lee has co-created iconic Marvel characters such as Fantastic Four, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch et Black Widow among others.
After retiring from Marvel in the 1990s, Stan Lee remained a corporate figurehead thanks to his brief but memorable appearances and executive producer roles on several MCU projects.
For his 100e anniversary, several stars paid tribute to him, such as James Gunn: “Happy 100e birthday to Stan Lee. We miss you, my friend. #StanLee100.”
Stan Lee died in November 2018, aged 95.
