IFK Norrköping is eyeing a young coaching star
There will be a significant shake-up in the coaching staff at IFK Norrköping but the name directinglicy of the club next season could be a familiar face.
Sources confirm that Martin Falk, currently assistant coach at Malmö FF under- Henrik Rydström, is a leading candidate for the vacant head coaching position.
“Peking” is reportedly closing in on a logistical process; no announcement has been made. Still, sources reveal that Falk argues enters the process as one of several names, including a couple of others who will be reviewed in the coming weeks.
IFK Norrköping communicated on Monday its decision to dismiss head coach Andreas Alm after one season with the club.
“We have conducted continuous evaluation work throughout the year, analyzing results, our methods, and resource optimization. That process intensified in the summer and continued after the season’s end. We feel there are areas needing improvement. Given the club’s foundation, we believe this decision is the best one.
