Martín Cárcamo recalled how he approached Adam Levine’s reluctant show in Viña: “It was very unpleasant”

3 years following the commented presentation of Maroon 5 at the Viña del Mar Festival, Martín Cárcamo recalled Adam Levine’s attitude at the event and revealed the setbacks he had to face as an entertainer on that occasion.

The face of Channel 13, which reported this week that it will not continue hosting the Viñamarino show, commented the moment in the morning Your daywhere he attended to talk regarding his withdrawal from the Festival and the anecdotes he lived there.

It was in this conversation that he remembered the moments of Adam Levine in Quinta Vergara, when he earned the hatred of a large part of Chile for delivering a “reluctant show” and not appear in tune with the public.

The entertainer reported that the problems began from the first moments of the day, when the band was late. Even at the time of presenting them, they had not yet reached the vicinity of the Festival, delaying the show by almost 40 minutes.

Martín Cárcamo had a cross with Adam Levine’s guard

We were going to present them and they told us ‘they haven’t made it to Quinta Vergara’, and the festival had already started!”, he said in the morning. At that moment, production had to improvise until the group showed up, “we did it as much as we might, trying to hold out until they arrived,” she added.

He also criticized the vocalist’s individual attitude. “Adam Levine was very unpleasant (…) I was listless, like I wasn’t even there, I didn’t understand where I was,” he recalled.

Added to this, he also lived a tense moment with the singer’s security guard, when despite explaining that he was the host of the event, he did not let him near the stage.

His personal guard arrives and tells me in English ‘please, get out of here’. (…) ‘Get out of here, you can’t even look him in the eye’… so I had to go to my dressing room to smoke a joint. That was complex, he bothered me, ”he concluded.
