Marseille President: We signed Ronaldo, like Haaland and De Bruyne!

The president of Olympique Marseille, Pablo Longoria, revealed the truth of the French club’s negotiations with Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo to include him in the current transfer market.

Madeira’s rocket was trying to leave Old Trafford this summer, due to the lack of Manchester United’s participation in the Champions League.

After rumors spread in the past few hours regarding the departure of the Don to France through the Marseille gate, Longoria confirmed that all these speculations are completely incorrect.

What did the president of Marseille say?

Pablo Longoria explained that all the news spread regarding Ronaldo joining the French team is completely incorrect, as his team cannot obtain the services of a giant star like Ronaldo at the present time.

“It is the world of social media that is full of fake news. We want reality. The Ronaldo deal is not ours,” he said, in comments reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano.

He continued: “It would be like saying that Kevin de Bruyne or Erling Haaland are the goals of Olympique de Marseille… Let’s focus on our real project.”

Will Ronaldo leave Manchester United?

The situation is very difficult for Ronaldo, who wanted to leave since the beginning of the summer until now, as many big European clubs closed their door in the face of the legendary Portuguese star, either for technical reasons or for the size of his huge salary.

Some Italian reports indicate that the Don’s agent, George Mendes, is trying to offer him to the clubs of Naples and Milan in Italy, in the hope of joining a team in the Champions League.

For his part, the Madeira missile published a picture of it today via a tweet on Twitter, and wrote on it: “Keep working and focusing.”
