MIAMI (AP) — Luis Arráez had two singles and established himself as the major league batting leader with a .403 average in the Miami Marlins’ 6-1 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday.

Jesus Sanchez homered, hit a pair of singles and drove in four runs for the Marlins, who won for the sixth straight time. The three-game series sweeps of the Royals and Oakland Athletics are the first for the Marlins at home since they won six straight once morest Washington and Houston in 2008.

The work of the Dominican Marlins starter Edward Cabrera, who allowed a run, ended following throwing his warm-up pitches for the sixth inning. Manager Skip Schumaker and the team’s assistant physician came up to the mound and spoke with the right-hander, who was later removed from the game.

Cabrera (5-4) allowed two hits, walked two, struck out four and hit one batter.

Jordan Lyles is still winless and lost his 10th decision. He allowed five runs, six hits, walked one and struck out two.

Sanchez’s three-run homer in the third erased a 1-0 deficit. The Dominican hit a changeup from Lyles and sent it over the wall of center field, in his sixth home run of the year.

For the Royals, the Venezuelan Maikel Garcia 3-1 with a run scored.

For the Marlins, the Dominicans Jesús Sánchez 4-3 with one run scored and four RBIs, Bryan de la Cruz 4-1 with one run scored and two RBIs. Venezuelan Luis Arráez 4-2 with two runs scored.
