Central – With the aim of encouraging cultural and intellectual initiatives, the “Human Homeland Project” received a cultural exhibition par excellence, titled “The Feather and the Pen” and gathered activities that extended over a full day. The meetings included a group of writers, poets and writers who participated in their latest publications.
The paintings of plastic artists added an atmosphere of colors that expressed the beautiful Lebanon with its sky, sea, nature and vibrant people.
The event coordinator, the poet and writer Pascal Blanc Nashar, opened the events with a speech in which she welcomed the writers, poets, artists and the audience, thanking the “Human Homeland Project” that received these activities, which indicates that despite all the political, economic and social circumstances, it still gives space to culture, which remains one of the most important pillars of rebuilding Lebanon is “the homeland of man”.
It is noteworthy that this first cultural exhibition, “The Pen and the Pen”, brought together more than 30 artists and a crowd of interested people, where books and suggestions were exchanged in order to stimulate culture and thought. It also included a direct drawing and circles of cultural dialogue, during which books were signed for a number of writers, namely:
– Claude Abou Chacra “Rebel Sows Hope”
– Dr. Elham Kallab “Twigs and Roots”
– Joseph Gemayel “Write in the Name of Love”
– Micheline Mubarak “I am Beirut”.
Literary readings and signatures permeated a direct drawing of a number of plastic artists.
