Mark Zuckerberg showed graphics in the future version of the metaverse

Earlier this week, Mark Zuckerberg posted a screenshot of his digital avatar with the Eiffel Tower and a not-so-recognizable version. the Sagrada Família. Thus, he marked the launch of his Horizon Worlds metaverse in France and Spain. Unfortunately for the billionaire, the internet was unimpressed by the demo, making a real mockery of it on social media because the graphics look worse than in games from the early 2000s.

Deciding not to be indebted, Zuckerberg stamped his foot and showed a couple of screenshots showing the future graphics of the metaverse. He added that the Horizon engine is capable of much more. And, with all the well-deserved criticism of Mark, it is still worth recognizing that the upgrade will be quite decent.

Of course, this is not Unreal Engine 5, but it is many times superior to the creepy primitive that exists now. However, a graphics upgrade may not be enough to attract millions of users.

No matter how beautiful the picture looks, in the end it all comes down to the possibilities available in such sandboxes. And, of course, the community. It is not yet very easy to say who exactly Mark is betting on.
