A report revealed that Mark Zuckerberg, head of Meta, told employees that he did not rule out a new round of layoffs, CNBC reported.

Meta decided in November to lay off more than 11,000 of its employees, or 13% of its workforce.

And the company revealed last March that it would lay off an additional 10,000 employees.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Zuckerberg told company employees last Thursday: “In general, I feel good regarding the situation here, but given the volatility, I don’t want to promise that there will be no future things in the future.”

Zuckerberg expects the company to wind down a total Employee layoff process The current one is in May 2023, but when asked regarding future layoffs, he indicated that it was difficult to predict what would happen in 2024 and 2025.

The young billionaire also indicated that the social media company does not intend to hire new employees at the same speed as it was doing before the process of firing employees began at the end of last year.
