By defying Russian censorship live on television, journalist Marina Ovsiannikova demonstrated that the propaganda orchestrated by the Kremlin regarding the Ukrainian invasion had not silenced all opposition voices. Fuel prices: the government’s “rebate at the pump”, a turnaround deemed electoral and insufficient
In an interview at Parisian, Prime Minister Jean Castex announced on Saturday a “discount at the pump of 15 centimes per litre” of all fuels. “Valid on all fuels”, this measure is expected to cost 2 billion euros and will come into force on 1 April. Less than a month before the first round of the presidential election, this announcement is accused of electoralism by many presidential candidates.
