It looks like Capcom plans to show off more gameplay for the newly revealed Street Fighter 6 characters almost every night at the moment, since we’ve already seen additional previews on DJ And Manon.
This time around, Capcom just shared new footage of Marissa in action, which doesn’t hold back the brutality at all.
As previously speculated, Capcom confirms that Marissa can hack her opponent’s Drive Impact by charging up some of her special moves, but more importantly, the new gameplay shows that she’ll gain a shield while her giant Gladius punch is also actively charging up.
It also features Overdrive’s version of another special which is a big over the head punch that puts the opponent into a tailspin though the ride doesn’t end there.
She is then immediately confirmed to have access to an OTG Super Art, presumably her Level 2, which lifts Manon off the ground before slamming her even harder.
You can get a closer look at Marissa’s first encounter with the face of Manon in the new Street Fighter 6 screenshot below.
True to her heritage, Marisa is an imposing force who has no problem getting close to her opponents. She can even pass through a Drive Impact in one hit for some of her supercharged special moves.
Yes, trembling with fear. She likes it. ???? pic.twitter.com/5OQLd9vuRN
