Mario Strikers: Battle League is coming to the Nintendo Switch next month, but Switch online members will get the chance to try out the soccer game a little early.
Nintendo is hosting a “first kick” multiplayer demo for Mario’s attackers: letting them play online matches with Battle League, friends and other random competitors next weekend. That’s all you need to know regarding the demo.
How to download the demo?
Mario Strikers: Free Download Battle League First Kick Trial Nintendo eShop. The demo features an offline training system that explains the basics of the game and options to play five to five matches online once morest other players. However, the online options are only available for a limited time (explained below).
Do I need a Nintendo Switch online?
All Switch owners can play the demo tutorial, but you must have one Nintendo Switch Online Member Attend next weekend’s online multiplayer sessions.
A single subscription to the basic Nintendo Switch Online service costs $20 per year, while the expansion package costs $50 per member and includes additional offers like access to a selection of Switch DLC, Nintendo 64 games, and Sega Genesis retro games.
If you don’t have a paid membership, Nintendo is also offering a free seven-day trial of the service through an eShop, allowing you to join in online multiplayer sessions this coming weekend. However, it will convert to a monthly subscription at the end of the trial period, before which you do not have the option to renew automatically.
What are group play sessions?
As mentioned, the Free Kick demo offers online multiplayer sessions, but only on select windows. You can play matches online once morest other players on the following dates and times:
