Marine fish with human-like lips and teeth created difficulties for divers

It will be hard to believe but today a picture of a fish has gone viral on social media due to its lips and teeth like humans.

Yes indeed a fish with human lips and teeth. But there is one problem and that is that no such fish exists in reality, or at least not like the white teeth seen in the picture above.

This photo of the fish was shared by a Twitter user @raff_nasir on July 2, but it went viral after a report published by a British website, The Mirror, on Wednesday.

The report did not contact any experts but claimed that it was a real species of fish known as a triggerfish. Many other reports also described this fish as a true trigger fish found in various oceans around the world.

Well, it’s true that there are triggerfish in the world that have larger lips, but this photo probably didn’t have much photoshop done on that part (on the lips), but as for the teeth, they would have been different. There are, as you can see in the picture below.

In fact, the teeth of this fish are terrifying and cause problems for divers.

According to David Booth, a marine life expert at the University of Technology in Australia, this species of fish attacks divers in the Great Barrier Reef, their teeth are so strong that they can even separate a finger from a hand.

So do they have teeth like humans? On this question, David Booth said. This fish definitely has big teeth, but not like humans, so yes, the viral photos look fake.

Scientists say that no fish like the picture exists in reality, so don’t take this viral picture as real.
