At the end of October, the bad news for Health Mag viewers fell and the end of the program at the end of the 2023/2024 season was made official. “Marina Carrère d’Encausse will remain one of the faces of France Télévisions. At the same time, we are working on a new medical magazine planned for the start of the 2024 school year,” said an executive from the public audiovisual group. Even if this decision is difficult to accept, it does not prevent the columnists – Énora Malagré and Marine Ltemporel are among the new faces of the season – from coming on the set to talk regarding different subjects, while there is still time.

Michel Cymes is also very affected by the end of the show even though he left it in 2018 to devote himself to new projects. Last November, while on Culture Media on Europe 1, he confided shortly following hearing the news: “It did something to me.” However, he understands that the group wants renewal. “This show has been on the air for 25 years. After a while, I understand that France Télévisions wants to change,” he said. However, he would not be surprised if the program returned to television in a new format. “There will be a call for tenders or something equivalent. And then, all the production companies in Paris will rush to respond because it’s a great place,” explained the former doctor.
