Absent at the controls of TF1’s “1 p.m.” since December 17, Marie-Sophie Lacarrau was to return to service this Monday, February 28. But it will not be, the journalist still suffering from a severe ophthalmic infection.
“Marie-Sophie cannot come back if she is not completely cured. It can take six months”, confided Jacques Legros, his current replacement, to the “Parisian”.
On Twitter, the journalist spoke this Saturday, just to give news. Wearing chunky glasses, she announced, “I have an eye infection. A rare and severe infection that requires long treatment. I’m doing everything to get back as soon as possible (…) In the meantime, I thank TF1 for its understanding, for all the reorganization that this entails on 1 p.m. I thank Jacques Legros who arrived for two weeks, at the end of December, and who, since, ensures so much, with the team of 13h .
And Marie-Sophie Lacarrau to conclude: “I can’t wait to see you once more and see you soon.”
