It was the past April 10 of this year when Julián Figueroa, son of Joan Sebastian and Maribel Guardia, lost his life unexpectedly when he was at home. The fateful news was shared by the singer, who since that moment has been very sad but with fortaleza enough to keep going despite the pain that comes with having lost one of the most important beings in your life.
Maribel will open Julián’s room for the first time
A little more than half a year later, the actress is ready to face this emotional challenge; open her son’s room for the first time in order to honor her memory during the Day of the Dead, and through tears she told reporters that she knew that at some point she would have to do it despite her pain. He will do this in order to take some of Julián’s personal belongings to place them on an altar.
“It’s going to be very difficult for me because I haven’t even entered the room, nor have I grabbed his things, his clothes. I have to do it, it’s a step I have to take because tonight I’m going to put him together, so I have to choose some things from his clothes, his hat, his guitar, I have to make it very pretty and with a lot of love for him ”he explained.

He also explained that he misses him very much and I would like to hug him, but he knows that his son is in a good place and he only has to wait for the moment when they are reunited in heaven and it will be until that date when he hugs him. Meanwhile, he assured that he will continue moving forward for his family.
“I cry out of selfishness, because I miss him, because I would like to hug him, I know that my son is better than anyone else (…) I have to continue with my child, with my grandson, with my husband, with my family (…) and Well, life goes on, I have to thank God that I am alive, raise my family and someday I will hug my son in heaven,” she said between sobs.
