The last few weeks have been hectic for María Virginia Brigido Chamorro. From Catamarca, she joined Córdoba Athletic a few days ago and next Saturday she will travel with the national team to the South American Beach Games that will be held in Santa Marta, Colombia, between the 14th and 21st of this month.
“I have been playing rugby for four years. I started in January 2019 and I loved it, it became what I do every day. Every time they call me up it is a joy and a pride to have another chance to wear the Argentine shirt”.
“I already played beach rugby once, together with the national team, and the truth is a beautiful experience, and I always enjoy and learn from each tournament,” says the brand new Córdoba Athletic player.
Regarding her choice to play in Cordoba rugby, the rugby player trained in Catamarca Rugby said: “I came to play in Córdoba to attend the rugby Academy and have more game continuity since in Catamarca our dates are far apart. I seek to continue developing as a player and raise my level”.
