In the last elimination gala, the MasterChef (Telefe) participants faced a classic challenge of the contest: a tower of profiteroles filled with pastry cream and covered in caramel. The test generated moments of great tension and there were several contestants who had serious problems with the recipe. However, the jury decided that the worst performance was that of María Sol and she had to leave the competition.

The native of Sampacho, Córdoba, made a mistake that the chefs considered inexcusable: their berlineras had almost no filling. “My sleeve broke four times and the last time it broke, my beak came out and that’s why some of them are slightly loose,” she explained when she was in front of the specialists at the time of the tasting.

In this sense, Damián Betular, a pastry expert, told the young woman why she did not achieve the result she expected. “If I add the butter as soon as it comes off the heat, the butter does not emulsify, which is why it begins to harden the pastry cream. You could have broken twenty more sleeves, because all that pressure you put on that you thought you were filling, not filling, was pressure, ”he told her.

This was the farewell of María Sol from “MasterChef”

María Sol’s farewell was very emotional, since the chefs only had praise when they described their time on the program. “We are going to remember you for your light, for your simplicity and, above all, for making us know Sampacho,” Donato De Santis told him through tears.

At his turn, Damián Betular added: “I think Sampacho receives a new ambassador. Those of us who come from the interior know how difficult it is to make yourself known when you come from a small town, so thank you”.

“You gave all Argentines the opportunity to see a part of the country that is not seen much, but that you showed it. With the desire that you have, you can achieve anything ”, completed Germán Martitegui.
