Maria Corina Machado’s security chief released

Milciades Ávila, head of bodyguards for opposition leader María Corina Machado, was released from prison on Thursday.

This was reported by Machado on his account on the social network X, where he specified that Ávila received a precautionary measure of presentation to the court of Maracay, Aragua state.

“We have just received our colleague Milciades Ávila at our headquarters. He received a precautionary measure of presentation to the Maracay court every 30 days, as a result of the presentation hearing held this followingnoon,” he said.

The leader thanked “everyone who, with their support, contributed to making this first step possible to reverse this injustice.”
