Hi Koora – Fulham coach Marco Silva attacked referee Michael Salisbury, the referee of the Newcastle United match, which ended in his team’s 3-0 defeat by the MacBaies, today, Saturday, in the 17th round of the Premier League.
Marco Silva said: “It is very sad and disappointing that this happened. The red card raised a question mark. There was an intervention on Raul before that moment but the referee did not see it. The referee did not have full experience. It ruined our day.”
He added: “Referees who participate in such matches must be more careful regarding pressure. They must have the ability to deal with this pressure because the fans of the home team are the ones who ignite the match.”
