Born in 1989 in Biel, Marco Sieber is a urologist. In November 2022, after applying to join the ESA (European Space Agency), his application was accepted as a future astronaut and his training will begin in April in Cologne.
He could therefore follow the same path as Claude Nicollier and he is already well encouraged by the French astronaut Thomas Pesquet. For the Bienne, the path to the moon or why not the planet Mars can last a few more years, but for the moment part of his childhood dream is already coming true…
His basic training lasts one year, then he can enter the next phase of Space Station training. /jmp-rke
